Bangkok is the capital of Thailand and it is consistently ranked as the global top destination city by international travelers. The city has a great mix of traditional and modern cultures. The most popular tourist attraction is The Grand Palace which is located at the heart of Bangkok. It is the residence of the King of Siam and used for royal ceremonies. The compound comprises of several buildings, halls and courtyards with the structural design of a combination of Thai and European architectural influence.

Wat Pho (The Reclining Buddha) is located near The Grand Palace and it is a must-visit temple in Bangkok. It is the largest temple with its complex covering 80,000 square meters and has a collection of over 1000 Buddha images. Wat Arun (The Temple of Dawn) is nearby and it is located on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River. It is the most stunning temple for its architectural design and riverside location. The visitors can enjoy the sunset behind Wat Arun from the other side of the river bank while having a delightful meal at one of the many riverside restaurants.

Bangkok is famous for its street food and nightlife. You can enjoy delicious and inexpensive meals in place such as the Ratchada Train Night Market. Khao San Road is also famous among travelers for its nightlife and exotic street food. All things considered, Bangkok is a destination you’ll love.
